Project: An infrequently used guest bath badly in need of updating without spending a fortune

Challenges: Poor layout, all surfaces needed replacing and modest budget.

ReImagined: This is my favorite kind of challenge! Forced to use what we had for economy’s sake, I got busy and got creative. Using materials that are readily available in retail, I created a modern and beautiful space without major construction. Replacing the vanity, mirror, light and medicine cabinet, installing louvered doors over the existing shallow unattractive shelving, new flooring and paint, replacing the shower stall’s trim and installing bypass clear glass shower doors, this bathroom is now up to speed and ready for guests. The client also took my suggestions of adding a light over the shower and a fan for ventilation, which brought this dated space up to current building standards.
